Snowtrot bowed her head then picked her (nightshadow) up by the sruff. She walked back to Meadowclan camp. When she got there she droped her in the middle of the clearing.
"no no no,this can't be happening," wailed a voice behind Snowtrot.
She turned her head to she thornwhisker the medicine cat.
"She died a brave cat," she mewed sadly.
She heard him then wail a thinn wail of sadness.

Fox bowed, his expression stony.

"I will escort him to the border." Scarletflare mewed coldly. And with that, the two left the leaders den, never stopping to talk to another cat until they reached inside his hidden den.

"Okay, Scarletflare, I'm so sorry, I don't know--"

"I'm staying."

"you have the responsibilities of a deputy and-- wait, you're staying? Here?" Fox stared at his mate.

"Yes. If Fawnstar could not understand, then I'm leaving the Clan and staying here, a loner with you."

Fox nodded, then added some more moss in his nest. He curled up, and fell asleep, Scarletflare following suit, laying next to Fox.

Thornwhisker walked towards where Fawnstar had taken Scarletflare Fox and Ravenfeather.
"Fawnstar," he mewed sadly

Ravenfeather sat at the camp entrance, debating with herself whether to follow her friend or not. She had a feeling Scarletflare had left the Clan for good. Only one way to find out, she thought and exited the camp.

Thornwhisker turned his head and saw Ravenfaether starting to leave camp.
He raced after her until he had caught up.
"Ravenfeather,"he called "how could you leave to hunt in such a time, "Nightshadow is... DIED!"

and y do u always do- that? u lik, hav to combind everything into one thing! i (and this is just me...) think that the real Thornwhisker would of just told Fawnstar and forgotten about Ravenfeather... thats just me...

and i want to clear up- i always thought Thornwhisker was a she-cat, which is she/he: tom or she-cat???

Setting: Outside MeadowClan Camp

"Have you told Fawnstar?" Ravenfeather mewed nonchalantly. I don't have time for this. Scarletflare, our deputy, has left the Clan! The dark she-cat knew she should mourn, but she was cross that Thornwhisker wouldn't tell their leader and her instead.

Ravenfeather sniffed, then left Thornwhisker's line of sight, without another word.

Thornwhisker hurried off towards the leaders den when she got there she didn't bother to ask she just barged right in.
"Nightshadow... is...is...DEAD," she sputtered.

Nightshade finally came to and she got up and looked around. She was alone. She saw blood. Lots of blood. She rushed back to camp only to see that Nightshadow was lying in the middle of camp unmoving. She smelt and gasped.
